This is an interesting piece. Sets up nice visual rhythm. The 2 lower squares with the texture, are even more interesting when set off by the others. I suspect if the texture were intentional you would probably have put it in all the pieces, It is the stronger for being isolated by the others. Do you also have access to a forge and hydraulic press? I think you could do some interesting variations with this form.
